OPERATIONS MANAGER

OVERVIEW/POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Manager oversees daily operations for the assigned market and ensures alignment with GMR's operational, financial, and regulatory standards. This role provides leadership across assigned departments and holds responsibility for budget, volume, and operational performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Value customers and team members by showing respect and ensuring satisfaction through process improvements.
• Analyze markets to align supply with demand, monitor budgets, and prepare financial reports to control costs and boost revenue.
• Negotiate contracts, resolve issues with communities and agencies, and stay informed on industry trends.
• Direct clinical and operational management while maintaining compliance with GMR policies and legal requirements.
• Promote continuous quality improvement, disaster planning, risk management, and training.
• Set goals for field operations, interact with emergency providers, and manage recruitment, retention, training, and recognition of employees.
• Resolve employee and labor issues, model GMR values, and support development through role modifications.
• Administer contracts and capital budgets, manage inventory, and participate in community activities.
• Implement operational changes, integrate new companies, and share best practices across the organization.
• Follow information security protocols, attend required training, mentor and evaluate staff, enforce company policies, and support affirmative action.
• Travel as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

* Minimum of Three (3) years' experience general management experience

* Minimum of Two (2) years' experience in EMS

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare or other appropriate field of study is preferred

Skills:

* Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communications

* Effective internal and external customer service experience

Credentials/Licenses:

* Current State EMT/Paramedic License

* BLS and ACLS Certification (AHA only)
