Description

The Sr. Project Manager - Operations and Manufacturing is responsible for the overall project management function for the operations. Plan and direct the activities necessary to support operations and continuously improve all functions on the site. Ensure that projects are managed, tracked and reported.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with all other departments and maintain a high degree of cooperation. Assist in identification and prioritization of site projects.
  • Lead and monitor multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of company's quality system.
  • Presentation skills suitable for project and budget reviews.
  • Manage Projects efficiently to successful completion under quality management requirement.
  • Motivate others to accomplish tasks without direct supervision.
  • Able to write, revise, or review change notifications, change orders, protocols and reports
  • Maintain operation KPIs and scorecard.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and work as liaison for cross functional projects.
  • Develop, maintain and revise operation project plan portfolio.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of 10 years cross functional project management experience
    • 8 or more years of experience in ISO13485 and/or cGMP/cGLP compliant environments, including manufacturing, medical device, or regulated environments, are preferred
    • Relevant MBA and/or PMP Certification from PMI a plus
    • Planning: An ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-3 year time span.
    • Management: The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
    • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
    • Technical skills in operation excellence, such as lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement, and materials management.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    The estimated salary range for this role based in California is between $170,900 - 197,200. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux's bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate's experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
