Job Summary:
This position will be an academic nine-month, tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level in the Computer Sciences Department to begin in August 2025. The applicant would become a member of the Computing Ethics Cluster, which spans the Computer Sciences Department, the Philosophy Department, and the Information School. The successful candidate will conduct scholarly research resulting in publications in high-quality peer-reviewed scholarly venues, acquire external funding to support research and graduate students, and design and teach bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level courses (both online and in person). The candidate will be committed to service within the department, university, and profession appropriate to faculty rank.
