Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services.

In March 2012, the Cotton Family Birth Center at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital was designated aBaby-Friendlybirth center by Baby-Friendly USA. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to TheJames and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches

Scope of work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1-3 Years' experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.

• Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire.

• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and /or the American Red Cross.
