AI and ML Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Lead the development and integration of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions at USCYBERCOMMAND. Leverage large language models (LLMs) in real-world applications. Build and maintain systems that enable advanced AI capabilities while contributing to other high-impact, cross-functional projects throughout the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, software development, or data engineering
  • Experience in a programming language such as Python, R, or Java
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a technological field
  • Ability to obtain an IAT Level II certification within 45 days of employment

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and integrating them into larger applications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Experience with web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
  • Experience designing software architectures using containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with modeling and simulation in support of military applications, including intelligence operations, wargaming, and force design planning
  • Experience with wargames, simulation software, or models for developing realistic threat scenarios
  • Experience with the DoD, Cyber Operating Forces, USCYBERCOM, or their components
  • Knowledge of defense or intelligence data sources and analytic tools

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
