Truss Design Manager in Training (On-site)

In this role, you'll leverage your truss design expertise while learning essential leadership, team management, and operational skills. This opportunity is tailored for someone passionate about design, quality, and the development of both products and people.

• Collaborate closely with senior managers to understand the responsibilities of overseeing design operations.
• Review, oversee, and refine truss designs to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering growth and ensuring high-quality work output.
• Gain hands-on experience in scheduling, resource allocation, and design project management.
• Participate in strategic decision-making to optimize workflows and increase team productivity.

Pay: $70,000 - $100,000 + Monthly incentives

Interpretation and design of engineered components and panels from architectural prints to produce placement layouts and engineered truss drawings.

Supervise and direct designers' work to ensure accurate designs.

Scheduling design work.

Managing and resolving customer related design issues and other miscellaneous design issues.

Developing designer's skills to enable them to advance through the design levels.

Effective communication with other teams, including sales, production, customer service and management

Database software

Respond to common inquiries, and/or resolve complaints, from customers

Mulit-Family design experience
