As a Supervisor, Manufacturing Production - Night Shift supporting the VIT (Vitreoretinal Surgery) Consumables Manufacturing Production Team, you will be trusted to lead an assembly and/or packaging team of line coordinators, production specialists and operators to manufacture medical devices at Houston, Texas, US. In this role, a typical day will include: Providing a safe working environment that complies with applicable standards and ensuring that associates are working safely. Continuously monitoring work areas for good safety and housekeeping practices; identifying, resolving, and reporting safety hazards. Operating in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet commitments within Alcon's standards (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Conduct). Creating a positive work environment that engages associates and enables and rewards strong performance. Ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all associates, in accordance with company policies & procedures, as well as employment law. Developing organizational capability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. Providing front line supervision, leadership, and work direction to production teams, including time and attendance, performance management, training oversight and development.
