The Summer Internship Program at MidFirst Bank offers qualified students the opportunity to integrate academic learning with hands-on, practical experience in a fast-paced commercial banking environment. High performing interns are eligible for full-time positions in the Officer Development Program. The Summer Internship includes:



  • A comprehensive overview of the banking industry via case studies, departmental rotations, executive briefings, strategy meetings and special projects.
  • Business and industry research, compliance monitoring and financial analysis.
  • Loan presentations to senior management.
  • One-on-one mentoring with recent ODP graduates, program managers and HR career counselors.
  • Team challenges and after hours social events.
  • Respect for individuals with divergent skill sets.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Completed junior year of a BA/BS degree.
  • Business major required.
  • Cumulative 3.25 GPA.
  • Accounting or finance coursework required.
  • Demonstrated extracurricular achievement.
  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and excel in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of initiative and accountability.
  • Results-driven, team-oriented and client-focused.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

SCHEDULE:

32- to 40-hour work week; 8- to 10-week duration. This position is expected to be posted through December 1, 2024. If the position has not been filled by the expected date, the date may be extended and will be updated on the job posting.
