Junior Software Engineer

ISPA Technology is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team onsite in Panama City Beach, FL. You will play a vital role in developing and maintaining software for critical military systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills and contribute to impactful projects with real-world implications for national security and scientific research.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and test software modules for various military systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and other developers to ensure software meets project requirements and specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to government coding standards.
  • Conduct rigorous unit and integration testing to guarantee software performance and reliability in demanding underwater environments.
  • Stay up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies.
  • Document technical work clearly and concisely for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment, fostering open communication and problem-solving.



Qualifications:


  • Strong programming skills, with proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance



Education:


  • High School Diploma, or a GED, and one (1) years of Professional/Military experience relevant to software development or coding, OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, OR
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field.
