Job Summary

Nidec Power is now hiring Maintenance Electronic Technician
Starting Rates $23.36 + $5,000.00 sign-on bonus

This is a direct hire position with competitive pay, technical incentive, and quarterly production bonus opportunities. Benefits start Day 1, including: 9% 401k contribution, paid holidays, paid vacation, and daily onsite cafeteria and meal stipend.

2nd Shift - 3:30pm-10:30pm (Work 35 hours > Get Paid for 40 hours PLUS 5% Shift Premium.)

Job Description

Responsible for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical devices and systems.

Duties & Responsibilities Information:

  • Develops strategies to safely resolve problems with the least amount of downtime, or cost to company
  • Plans the scopes of work, time, and materials required to complete tasks assigned
  • Emphasizes preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs of a variety of electronic controls, systems, boards, and circuits
  • Works with single and multi phase electricity to 480 volts, plumbing materials and applications, HVAC systems, variety of welding and brazing processes, and repairs with block, brick, and concrete
  • Troubleshoots and repairs relay logic, hydraulic pneumatic systems, and CNC machines
  • Reads complex blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Fabricates and repairs guards
  • Repairs and provides preventive services to a wide variety of machinery and processes throughout the plant

Necessary Skills:

  • Ability to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, read and interpret detailed prints, drawings, layouts and specifications
  • Ability to apply information to manufacturing process
  • Emphasis in CNC repair as well as trouble shooting electronic controls and equipment

Additional Job Details

Education & Experience Information:

High School Diploma / GED Required

Trade/Technical School Preferred
