Available Shifts:Full Time : Monday - Friday 4pm-12am & Monday - Friday 12am-8amPart-Time: Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pm, 4pm-12pm, & 12am-8am

The Varsity Crest Program offers a unique and innovative approach to Supervised Living and has been serving the greater Raleigh community for over 15 years. Staffed 24 hours per day and 7 days per week, RHD provides a variety of services tailored to meet individual needs and person-centered goals. Residents live in a clustered apartment setting with a focus on further developing life skills that are essential to live successfully in the community and increase independence.

The DSP assesses, plans, implements and evaluates daily living programs and routines for individuals we serve. The DSP conducts all program operations in accordance with RHD policy and the regulatory requirements of the NC DHHS. The DSP is responsible for ensuring the individual's health and safety is protected and that each individual participates to their fullest ability in activities of daily living.

  • Assist and support consumers in obtaining and maintaining life skills
  • Symptom management for and with consumers
  • Maintain cleanliness of the home
  • Report facility concerns to Supervisor
  • Provide and teach medication administration to residents
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Assist consumers with working towards person centered treatment goals
  • Complete required program documentation
  • Provide therapeutic mentoring and symptom monitoring and management
  • Provide supervision of individuals in accordance with the person-centered ISP; supporting someone to work towards outcomes identified in ISP and other Person-Centered Support Plans
  • Complete required documentation
  • Support consumers in activities of daily living, meal prep, toileting, hygiene, as appropriate
  • Assist in Community Integration Activities and access to community Supports including medical appointments, social security access, etc.
  • Complete all other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required, associates or bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Basic computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Prior experience in the human services field, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance. if applicable
