Position Summary: The Cold Forming Engineer III is responsible for developing new product concepts with a focus on cold headed manufacturing. This role will support new product design and cold heading progression/tooling design. Responsibilities also include experience and understanding with machining and fabrication in support of prototype work, exercising sound engineering judgement and presenting analysis summaries which support design decisions. This position in the R&D Department is generally intended for mechanical engineers with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with experience in the manufacturing methods previously described. The Design Engineer III works both independently and in a team environment with Project Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, Operations, and Test Technicians. A Design Engineer III frequently initiates collaboration with other departments to transition projects from development to production. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
