HVAC TECHNICIAN

The Role

You will be working as part of the Facilities team and will be responsible for building HVAC equipment maintenance/repairs, boiler maintenance/repairs, in-house projects, and provide support to teammates.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6am-230pm EST

Job Responsibilities:

• Work independently or as a team to complete work orders on-time.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) schedules on HVAC equipment.
• Trouble-shoot and repair issues with HVAC equipment.
• Maintain industrial steam boilers that burn propane and heating oil. Oversee routine testing, water chemistry, general maintenance, and outsourced large repairs.
• Utilize the building management system to oversee HVAC functionality.
• Maintain stock for belts, sheaves, bearings, & filters for PM cycles.
• Provide support to fellow teammates as needed.
• Perform Snow clean-up as required, including but not limited to all walks and doors so all employees can enter and exit the building in a safe manner.
• Play an active role in safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Maintain necessary records as required. Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Occasionally performs other related duties as assigned or directed to help team.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Trade school certificate a plus
• EPA Universal Gas fitters License
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• 3-5 years experience as an HVAC Technician
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• BMS platform experience
• General computer skills
• Proficient with power tools, ladders, industrial lifts and fork trucks
