AI Builder (Non-technical), Go-to-Market Strategic Initiatives

Job Description:

As the Go-to-market Strategic Initiatives Team's AI Builder, you will lead the team's transformation from AI-assisted to AI-native. You will drive validation of what a 'next generation' program management practice looks like and build the tools needed to bring that vision to reality. You'll collaborate with the team to ideate. Then you'll build, ship, and iterate based on their application of your output. Your work will directly impact the team's ability to effectively lead company priority-level initiatives. Under your leadership, we'll set the bar for what an AI-native program management practice looks like.

This role is for you if you're a natural leader. You're energized by identifying jobs-to-be done and confident in your ability to build AI-assisted workflows and iterate quickly. A user-first mindset comes naturally to you and your ability to enable others to leverage what you build is defined by excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap and drive automation phasing with team leadership to define the team' path to AI native: enable every PM's daily work, embed AI into team workflows through reusable automations and agents and a prompt/skills library, and progress toward orchestrated capabilities such as proactive risk detection, dependency mapping, and cross-program analysis.
  • Architect and build Own the design, development, and deployment of automated workflows that replace manual program management work (e.g. status updates, meeting prep and follow up, progress to goal tracking, decision logs, playbook generation, etc.) for a team of senior program managers.
  • Data plumbing and integration Pull from and write to systems of record (SharePoint, One Drive, Google Drive, BI etc.), handling schema, permissions, and refresh so automations stay reliable in production.
  • Ship weekly to embody an iterative approach. Deliver usable outputs every one to two incrementally improving team-wide leverage of automations.
  • Define measurement approach for what you ship and report on impact (e.g., time saved per PM, share of recurring work automated, active usage per asset etc., and translate technical capabilities into clear narratives for GTM SI leadership.
  • Create an Asset Library Define and maintain an internal library of agents, skills, prompts, and templates for team leverage.
  • Lead enablement and adoption Pair with PMs, hand over ownership, run office hours, and write documentation a non-technical person actually follows. Success will be measured in adoption and time returned to the team.
  • Champion governance and responsible AI use Raise data-handling, confidentiality, and accuracy risks unprompted. Define where human review is required, what "good" looks like, and ensure everything you build operates within LinkedIn's responsible AI and data privacy standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in program, product, or operations engineering
  • 1+ years hands-on building LLM-based tools (agents, copilots, prompt/skill libraries) used by non-technical team members
  • 1+ years experience shipping production automation into a business workflow evidenced by a named workflow that runs without you
  • 1+ years in Microsoft Cowork & Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, and/or Power Platform
  • 1+ years experience pulling from and writing to systems of record including schema, permissions, and refresh

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an "AI builder" or "automation lead" embedded within a GTM, Revenue Ops, or Sales Strategy team
  • Proven ability to lead ambiguous, complex initiatives from 0 to 1
  • Resilient, resourceful, and self-directed with a strong bias for action
  • Passion for AI with a clear, strategic perspective on applying agentic systems to drive business outcomes
  • Program management literacy to read a charter, RAID log, dependency map, or deck and know what "good" looks like to automate the output
  • Change management or enablement experience (running office hours, training users)
  • Experience defining an internal reusable asset library of templates, skills, and prompts
  • Ownership mindset: self-leading, comfortable in ambiguity, make data-backed recommendations, and hold a point of view on what an AI-native PM team should look like and best practices to make that vision a reality
  • Comfortable working without a spec. Preference to understand workflows by shadowing program managers
