Senior Change & Configuration Management Analyst

Axiologic Solutions LLC
life insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, 401(k)
United States, Virginia, Herndon
Oct 22, 2026

Axiologic Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Change & Configuration Governance Analyst to support enterprise change management, configuration control, release management, and technology governance within a complex technical environment.

This role will establish and maintain governance processes for system and architecture changes, including AI/ML model versioning, model retraining, system orchestration updates, prompt engineering baselines, and deployment activities. The analyst will help ensure changes follow established review, approval, implementation, and audit requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise change and configuration management processes, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Support formal change-control, engineering review, and architecture governance boards.
  • Coordinate the review, approval, implementation, and tracking of technical changes.
  • Maintain configuration baselines, change records, release documentation, and audit traceability.
  • Assess technical, operational, architectural, and cybersecurity impacts of proposed changes.
  • Develop governance protocols for AI/ML model versioning, retraining, configuration updates, and deployment promotions.
  • Maintain governance and change-control requirements for AI-enabled system orchestration and prompt engineering baselines.
  • Support release management and ensure deployments align with approved configuration baselines.
  • Maintain compliance traceability supporting RMF and NIST SP 800-53 requirements.
  • Develop metrics, reports, briefings, and governance documentation supporting change and configuration activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of directly relevant professional experience in change management, configuration management, release management, technology governance, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience developing or supporting formal change-control and configuration management processes.
  • Experience supporting governance boards or comparable technical review and approval processes.
  • Knowledge of configuration baselines, release management, change requests, and lifecycle governance.
  • Familiarity with RMF and NIST SP 800-53 requirements.
  • Experience maintaining change documentation, approval records, and audit traceability.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
  • Prosci, CCMP, configuration management, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML model governance, versioning, retraining, or deployment controls.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI systems and prompt engineering governance.
  • Experience with ServiceNow change or configuration management capabilities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology governance or digital modernization in a regulated environment.

Education Equivalency

In lieu of a bachelor's degree, up to 8 additional years of directly related professional experience may be considered, subject to applicable requirements.

One item I would verify before posting: this is titled Senior, but the requirement currently says 7+ years. If this is tied to the same Senior LCAT you gave me earlier, that requirement was 10+ years, so I would change the posting to 10+ to avoid an LCAT mismatch.

TS/SCI eligibility required for the position. Candidates with an active TS/SCI are preferred; candidates with a recent active TS may also be considered for SCI upgrade based on eligibility and program requirements.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $186,000

The salary range is provided in good faith and is based on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, Federal Government contract labor category requirements, contract wage determinations when applicable, clearance requirements, work location, relevant experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, internal equity, and approved funding.
For proposal-contingent positions, the listed range is an anticipated good-faith range based on current proposal assumptions. Final compensation may vary based on contract award, finalized customer requirements, approved funding, labor category alignment, and candidate qualifications.
Axiologic Solutions invests in its employees beyond compensation. Depending on position and eligibility, benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, paid time off, holiday pay, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance for courses and certifications, professional development opportunities, fitness and wellness support, electronic stipend, and other optional benefit elections.
Applicants with a physical or mental disability who require a reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process may email their request to hr@axiologicsolutions.com or call 571-295-4990. Determinations on requests for reasonable accommodation will be made on a case-by-case basis.
