Culminating Scholarly Project Advisor

Job Summary

The advisor position works to offer guidance and feedback to their advisee, a student from the Master of Science in Clinical Optometry program on their Culminating Scholarly Project. They are selected as a content expert on the topic that the student has chosen.

Essential Functions

• Attend regular meetings with their advisees
• Provide research assistance and feedback on work
• Attend and grade oral presentations
• Grade written papers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Optometry
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
