Infection Preventionist

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Infection Control Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM at Lovelace Westside Hospital.

This position will cover Lovelace Westside Hospital and Heart Hospital. Will also assist with Rehab Hospital and Roswell Regional Hospital, but will not need to go to those physcial locations.

• Lovelace Westside Hospital is a family care unit, an award-winning care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Provides patient safety focused on organization-wide infection surveillance, control and prevention program. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field of study. Education may be substituted for relevant experience in accordance to policy.
• 3 years of directly related experience.
• Certified Infection Control Practitioner required; or must complete within 2 years of hire.
