Schedule: This position will initially work Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.As business needs evolve, employees in this role may transition to a rotating 2-2-3 schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts. The 2-2-3 schedule includes working every other weekend. Candidates must be available to support both the current Monday-Friday schedule and a future rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, including every other weekend, based on business needs.

job purpose: Assists in maintaining a safe, hygienic environment throughout facility. Ensuring all areas are serviced and clean.

responsibilities:



  • Support CIP verification and validation activities.
  • Audit and perform MSS activities.
  • Inspect all chemical storage areas for leaks.
  • Monitor all chemical dispensing areas and equipment.
  • Inspect and clean all floor scrubbing equipment.
  • Receive bulk chemicals.
  • Ensure the outside of the facility is free of trash and debris.
  • Monitor chemical and janitorial inventory.
  • Ensure all GMP process and storage areas are serviced and clean.
  • Ensure common areas such as but not limited to corridors, break rooms, restrooms, are serviced and clean.
  • Other duties required by supervisor.


skills/qualifications required:



  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Accuracy and detail focused.
  • Ability to work independently with professional demeanor.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to complete work assignments based on broad directions with minimum supervision.
  • Prior custodian experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing.


Working conditions and physical requirements:



  • Lifts where necessary
  • 8 hours sitting/standing/walking
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Reaching/bending often
  • Exposure to hazards (machinery, confined spaces, etc.)

  • Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
  • Perform all duties necessary to meet Company, Customer and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
  • Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
  • In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.

$25 $29 USD
