Position Summary

Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR programs and processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. This position will support the Veriflo Division HR team in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Provide first level support to all Division union and non-union employees for Human Resources (HR) policies and programs, including:

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Support HR team with up-to-date data on hiring processes.

Onboarding:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted.

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain and update employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics, as needed.

Leave Administration:

  • Support the administration of employee leave programs, including supplying HR team and managers with records on leave timing.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding leave requests and updates.

Employee Relations:

  • Assist in addressing employee questions and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Help organize employee engagement events, initiatives, training sessions, and team-building activities.

Compliance and Policy Support:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Help update and maintain the employee handbook, labor postings, and other HR documentation.

Worksite Support:

  • Maintain conference rooms and kitchens supplies.
  • Maintain, order, and restock office supplies.
  • Coordinate, maintain, and establish vendor services

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Leader or Division HR Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree preferred

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of human resource experience.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of human resources, employment laws and HR processes.
  • Prior experience/background with HRIS and payroll functions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
