What to Expect
Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through Spring term (ending approximately May 2027) or continuing into Summer 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. About the Team The Systems Validation teamis responsible forvalidatingall softwareand systemrequirements prior toany new software release or new product introduction.This includes inventing and buildingstate of the artautomated test infrastructure to increase the efficiency and precision of testing used throughout the development and validation cycle. The teamis looking for highly motivated interns tosupportDrive Systems, Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Crash Safety, Thermal Management, HVAC, Body Controls, Lighting, Access Controls, Battery Management, Charging, Power Conversion, High and Low Voltage Power Distribution,Autonomy andCore Test Infrastructure. The ideal candidate is strong in system-level troubleshooting, automation tools,andhardwareand softwaredesign, with a passion for mechatronics and seamless user experiences. Interns willdirectlyimpactthecontinuous development of softwarefor existingand new vehicle programs bycontributing tothevalidationstrategyandbuildingnewautomatedtestinfrastructure. What You'll Do
