As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control Driving Role in Bangor, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
