Security Officer - Construction Zone Full Time

As a Security Officer - Construction Zone Full Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a construction and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, building access points, material storage areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain applicable entry, exit, and delivery logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Report security-related incidents, observed hazards, property damage, and policy concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
