Location: Buffalo, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Range: Starting Pay will range between $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position

Job Summary

The warehouse associate position requires you to perform various warehouse duties, such as sorting, loading, inputting, unloading, and receiving materials. This position is also responsible for processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately, inspecting items for defects and reporting them, and picking and transporting production parts to the assembly floor.

Responsibilities


  • Participate in Safety + QDIP daily, identify and report safety concerns as observed.

  • Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock.

  • Maintains accurate transactions and shipments in SAP on all inventory and stock. Complete cycle counts and participates in year-end physical inventory activities.

  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (i.e. forklift, reach truck, order picker)

  • Organize and keep clean the warehouse space.

  • Load trucks and trailers with outbound shipments.

  • Supports team lead with any issues related to quality or customer support.

  • Other duties as assigned.




Basic Qualifications


  • GED or High school diploma required

  • Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing/distribution environment

  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience

  • Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others.

  • Must possess ability to work well in a manufacturing environment.

  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment

  • Basic mathematical skills

  • Knowledge of plant receiving and materials movement processes

Fully site based

Key Competencies


  • GED or high school diploma required.

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
