Per Diem Intake Therapist - weekends and nights

Join our team at Cedar Hills Hospital as an Intake Therapist and learn how you can make a lasting difference in your community! At Cedar Hills, our team of board-certified psychiatrists, physicians, licensed therapists, and nursing staff provide individualized, continuum of care treatmentfor adults 18 and over.

Schedule: Per Diem Therapists work a minimum of four 12 hour shifts per month, 7am-7:30pm or 7:00pm to 7:30am.

The Intake Therapist is responsible for taking inquiry calls, crisis calls, assisting in setting up assessment appointments, or assisting with referrals to other appropriate treatment resources. This position also provides assessment evaluations, determines level of care, makes treatment recommendations and provides full risk assessment and safety planning. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing initial insurance pre-certifications and providing accurate clinical information to obtain insurance authorization.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social services or related field.
  • One or more years' experience in psychiatric hospital or similar setting with intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Oregon as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC or related licensure preferred.
