| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |

| Position Summary |
The
FCRP Instructional Technologist will report to the Learning Systems Manager and will assist in developing and designing online courses, training materials, and learning activities to meet digital accessibility standards. The Instructional Technologist will work closely with the Learning Systems Team and Educational Consultants to develop and update course materials for online and blended learning environments. This position is a part-time, temporary position.
The responsibilities of the position include:
-remediating online course modules and training materials to meet accessibility standards
-maintaining and updating online course content in collaboration with the Learning Systems Team
-developing and adapting online learning activities in collaboration with Educational Consultants to meet course learning objectives and stakeholder priorities
-reviewing course content for alignment with adult learning and instructional design principles
-supporting organizational needs for expanding capacity to remediate training materials to meet accessibility and adult learning principles
This position is fully remote. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
- Associate's degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Technology Integration; Networking Technology, or related areas and two years of experience in the Information Technology field related to the position's role; or a
- Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in the Information Technology Field related to the position's role, or a
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or Engineering from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in the Information Technology Field related to the position's role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Journey level requires an additional one year of experience.
- Advanced level requires an additional two years of experience. |
| Management Preferences |
Experience in Articulate Storyline Software, Microsoft Office Applications, or Adobe Acrobat Software Knowledge of
ADA accessibility Standards and how they apply to online course content
Experience with developing Training Materials for Human Service Agency or Higher education institution Ability to work effectively with a remote team |
