Your Job

Molex is looking for a Senior Manager, Operational Performance Analytics to help OCG improve operational performance metrics such as on-time delivery, lead time, responsiveness, and reliability that impact customer experience. This role will also identify opportunities to increase efficiency through process improvements and automation. This role partners closely with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Plant Operations to bring together data from multiple teams, turn it into clear insights, and help leaders prioritize actions and investments.

You'll be expected to frame ambiguous problems, connect the dots across functions, and provide recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.

Location: This is an onsite role based at our global headquarters in Lisle, IL.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You Will Do

  • Build a clear, consistent view of OCG operational performance across the quote-to-shipment cycle by combining data from Product, Supply Chain, Plant Operations, Order Management, Finance, and Sales Ops.
  • Develop and maintain a practical set of operational KPIs and performance views. Examples include: on-time delivery (OTD), lead time, order-to-ship performance, forecast accuracy, backlog aging, schedule attainment, inventory availability, expedite cost/premium freight drivers, and (for end-to-end visibility) quote win rate and quote cycle time.
  • Create insights that explain why performance is moving with trend analysis, driver analysis, root cause, and early warning indicators, so teams can act earlier and more effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency by surfacing recurring failure points, rework drivers, bottlenecks, and handoff issues across the quote-to-shipment process.
  • Support operational improvement and investment work by sizing opportunities, testing hypotheses, and tracking benefits over time (baseline to realized impact).
  • Partner with teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities (repeatable reporting, workflow automation, exception management, and other high-friction processes) that reduce cycle time, improve data quality, and increase scalability.
  • Enable recurring performance rhythms (weekly/monthly reviews, leadership updates) with a tight narrative, clear visuals, and a focus on actions.
  • Handle ad hoc requests from leadership as priorties shift; manage multiple projects and timelines in a high-growth environment.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience working with commercial/operational systems (ERP, CRM, supply chain planning tools, etc.).
  • Experience presenting to cross-functional stakholders to drive alignment.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and turning them into usable insights.
  • High-level of proficiency in Excel and experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analytics, consulting, operations performance, FP&A analytics or closely related.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • A structured problem-solving approach (hypothesis-driven, able to simplify ambiguity).
  • Manufacturing experience; familiarity with operational KPIs and service/delivery performance.
  • SQL and/or Python experience for repeatable reporting and scalable analysis.
  • Experience supporting operational improvement work (opportunity sizing, benefits tracking, performance routines).
  • Ability to bring an "outside-in" view-benchmarking, best practices, and practical automation ideas that can be implemented.

For this role, we anticipate paying $140,000 - $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
