In this role, you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all preconstruction activities within a market or group of markets or leads significant portions of the preconstruction group such as Estimating, Supply Chain, Standards, or other important groups. You will ensure that projects are accurately scoped, competitively priced, and positioned for success prior to construction start. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, design teams, project managers, and clients to drive predictable outcomes and strengthen the firm's market position. Job Responsibilities:
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in accredited construction related curriculum, such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent plus 12 years of experience; or 16 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
