Responsibilities Registered Nurse Opportunity: Full Time, 12 Hour Shifts 11am - 11:30pm We are looking for Nurses that: Believe in providing exceptional service to every patient, every interaction, every time. Dedicated to excellence, The Ridge is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as a licensed, 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric (mental health) and substance use disorder (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) services to children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient care is provided on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Outpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided on a five-day per week basis, days and evenings. Care is provided according to an established code of ethical conduct and strict adherence to patient rights. Website: The Ridge Behavioral Health System \| Lexington, KY Position Summary: The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients and assists with patient admissions and discharges. The Registered Nurse follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Programs, and performs other duties as assigned. JobDuties include: Provides in person support for admissions and discharges in the facility. Responsible for assisting the Unit Registered Nurses with processing new admissions including but not limited to new admission paperwork and skin assessments. Usesappropriate counselingskills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, usingappropriate toneand volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements,maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.
