Vaco is seeking a Sr. Payroll & Benefits Specialist! What stands out about this role? Fully remote opportunity with a stable and growing organization Opportunity to step into an upgraded role with increased visibility and impact Incredible leadership team and collaborative culture Cross-functional position partnering closely with Finance, HR, and employees across the organization Responsibilities include: Process and validate bi-weekly multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule Manage payroll-related activities including bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, garnishments, and off-cycle payrolls Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Coordinate payroll activities related to employee onboarding and terminations Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans Support annual open enrollment activities and employee benefit inquiries Review and reconcile benefit carrier invoices and payroll deductions Assist with payroll, benefit, and 401(k) audits Respond to payroll tax notices and support tax compliance activities Prepare payroll reporting and analysis for Finance and HR Identify opportunities for process improvements and implementation of best practices Requirements: 7-10+ years of progressive payroll and benefits administration experience Full-cycle, multi-state payroll experience Strong benefits administration experience Tax compliance experience CPP or CEBS certification strongly preferred Experience with BambooHR Payroll or similar HRIS/payroll systems Advanced Excel skills Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxation, and benefits administration Must be able to work Arizona business hours Salary: $80K-$100K To be immediately considered, APPLY NOW!
