Responsibilities

  • Define the necessary data repositories, supported tool sets, and integration adapters required to connect disparate systems.
  • Actively reach out to and engage with existing project teams currently performing digital engineering work to survey their current tools, data management practices, and licensing structures.
  • Develop and present a comprehensive vision and roadmap for the modern DE environment.
  • Establish governing policies, standardized procedures, and strategic paths for enterprise licensing, data storage, and cross-functional data sharing.
  • Proactively identify existing projects across the engineering center that can serve as candidate pilot programs to test, validate, and demonstrate the capabilities of the newly integrated DE environment.
  • Direct and collaborate with digital engineering teams to execute, integrate, and conduct Verification and Validation (V&V) on projects driven by core digital engineering principles.

Required

  • BS or BA degree
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Strong background in Systems Engineering or Project Engineering.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital engineering methodologies and the strategic application of the digital thread across the engineering lifecycle.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Desired

  • Experience actively designing, defining, or assembling the digital thread across a project lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with digital engineering and modeling tools (e.g., Dassault Systemes, MBSE frameworks, and Finite Element Analysis software) with experience managing projects that integrate these environments
