Responsibilities Position Summary The USCENTCOM Cultural Advisor (CULAD) provides expert cultural and strategic communication support to Combatant Command engagements across multiple geographic regions. This role advises senior leaders on cultural dynamics, communication practices, and relationship-building strategies that enhance military-to-military engagement, Key Leader Engagements (KLEs), and broader theater communication objectives. The CULAD ensures messaging, publications, and engagement activities are culturally relevant, effective, and aligned with Department of Defense policies, authorities, and doctrine. Key Responsibilities Provide cultural expertise and advisory support for USCENTCOM and Combatant Command engagement activities supporting transregional communication objectives.

Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
