About the Opportunity:
Responsible for operating and maintaining CNC and manual lathes and mills to cut, shape, and finish materials, primarily metal.
Program machines, select appropriate tooling, and ensure the precision and quality of finished products.
Set up equipment, write and test machining programs, make machine adjustments, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot operational issues.

What You'll Do:
Operate and maintain CNC and manual lathes and milling machines.
Set up machines for production runs and verify proper tooling and machine configurations.
Program, edit, and test CNC machining programs to meet production specifications.
Machine metal components to precise tolerances while maintaining quality standards.
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Make necessary adjustments to optimize machine performance and product quality.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and business objectives.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of direct industry experience running either lathes or mills, both CNC and manual. Must have CNC grinding experience.
What Sets You Apart (preferred):
  • Associate Degree.
  • Technical Skills.
  • Problem-Solving- Ability to diagnose and resolve machining issues.
  • Mathematical Skills- Ability to interpret blueprints and perform calculations related to dimensions and tolerances.
  • Mechanical Aptitude- Understanding of machine mechanics and how to troubleshoot problems.
  • Attention to Detail- Ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Able to support overtime on weekdays or weekends as needed to support business needs.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. and sit and stand for long periods.
