POSITION SUMMARY

Senior, revenue producing banker responsible for originating and expanding high value client relationships. Owns a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and complex business clients, with direct accountability for deposit growth, loan production, fee income, and full relationship capture.

Operates as a trusted advisor while confidently managing demanding clients and high stakes situations.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Portfolio and Client Growth and Retention
    • Own and grow a portfolio of high net worth and commercial clients
    • Serve as primary advisor and escalation point for complex, high demand relationships
    • Deliver high touch service under pressure, resolving issues decisively
  • Production
    • Generate new net deposits growth annually
    • Originate commercial, small business, and consumer loans
    • Develop new sources of fee income to include Treasury Management, Credit Card services, and other banking services
    • Drive full wallet capture across deposits, credit, and fee-based services
  • Business Development
    • Proactively source new relationships through centers of influence, referrals, and community presence
    • Target clients with meaningful deposit and borrowing capacity
    • Convert opportunities into primary banking relationships
  • Credit and Risk Execution
    • Structure and deliver sound, profitable credit solutions
    • Balance client expectations with disciplined risk management
    • Partner cross functionally to execute complex deals
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

About You

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Seven to ten years of similar or related experience in relationship or commercial banking

Knowledge, Skill, Ability (Other Skills):

  • The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust.
  • Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
  • Demonstrated success in deposit acquisition, loan origination, fee generation, and managing complex/difficult clients
  • Strong credit acumen and deal structuring capability
  • Executive presence with ability to engage business owners and affluent clients
  • Proven producer

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include lifting up to 10 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.

Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We offer an extensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for our part time employees up to a maximum accrual of 240 hours per year for certain Full-Time employees. PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
