Buyer/Planner

Production Administrator complies and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption materials, labor, quality control, and other aspects of production.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile verifies and record production data from shop orders, work tickets, BOM, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using with Esti Track Software.
• Calculate such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, and worker and department production labor hour.
• Writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacturing of products.
• Assist in purchasing function in specific assigned accounts.
• Performs other duties as requested.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include word, excel, outlook, and demonstrate the ability to utilize internet explorer to research parts availability, and other data needed to improve mission capable rates.
• Most possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess the ability to plan. Schedule and integrate complex events.
• Minimum 4 years' experience relating to production control and data analysis.
• Must have experience buying Metal
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. College coursework encouraged.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work conditions are normally those of a standard office environment where there is little physical discomfort.

May be required to lift to thirty pounds.

Willing to work extended hours if needed.
