Estimator I (Estimating Coordinator / Intake Specialist)

The Single-Family Estimating Department is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimating Coordinator / Intake Specialist (Estimator 1) to support our residential truss estimating operations throughout the West Region. This position plays a critical role in reviewing and qualifying incoming bid and permit requests, ensuring complete and accurate project information, coordinating workflow activities, and supporting scheduling efforts for the design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and qualify incoming bid and permit requests.
• Verify plans and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sales, Estimating, Design, and Administrative teams to obtain missing information and move projects through the workflow.
• Enter and maintain project data in company systems.
• Support scheduling activities and monitor request status.
• Assist with process documentation, SOP updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide backup support for other coordinators and key departmental functions.

• Experience reviewing construction plans or working in estimating, construction, design, or project coordination is a plus.
