Department of Radiological Sciences - Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, Open Ranks 2026-2027

Due to planned growth of imaging services, the Department of Radiological Sciences anticipates openings for full-time professorial position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series for clinicians with expertise in any of the following subspecialties:

* Breast Imaging

* Abdominal Radiology

* Cardiovascular and Thoracic Radiology

* Musculoskeletal Radiology

* Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging

* Neuroradiology

* Vascular and Interventional Radiology

Training in a fellowship program is highly desirable. Position includes clinical service, participation in research programs and teaching of medical students and residents. Academic appointment rank (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor) and will be recommended based on training and experience. Candidates must be American Board of Radiology board certified or eligible and eligible for a California medical license.

The University of California, Irvine has two academic medical centers: A 411-bed hospital in Orange and a 144-bed hospital in Irvine. Both medical centers are equipped with state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment. There are collegial relationships with all services.
