City of Hope Orange County is transforming cancer care delivery in the nation's sixth largest county. With the 2025 opening of Orange County's only cancer specialty hospital, City of Hope is advancing a national model for cancer research and treatment on its 72-acre research campus. The visionary initiative completes the most advanced, integrated cancer care network in the region, bringing more cancer-focused expertise, breakthrough acute and outpatient care, novel clinical trials and groundbreaking technology to a community with pressing needs. The hospital is seamlessly connected to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, ensuring uninterrupted care for each patient's needs (low acuity or complex.) The Genitourinary (GU) Medical Oncology Division runs a dedicated clinic and full inpatient consult service. This position is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-level oncology practice and work in a multidisciplinary medical group with an emphasis on collegiality and teamwork. The Division consists of full-time faculty between the Duarte and Irvine campuses, advanced practice providers, and a group of highly motivated and efficient nurses and ancillary staff. This position will report into Tanya Barauskas Dorff, M.D., F.A.S.C.O., Division Chief of Genitourinary Medical Oncology and Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research at City of Hope National Medical Center. Dr. Dorff is an internationally recognized expert in novel therapies and immunotherapy, overseeing one of the largest GU cancer clinical trial portfolios in the nation.She is a physician-scholar with more than 75 publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Cancer, Lancet Oncology and Journal of Clinical Oncology, and she serves as a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network's Prostate Cancer Guidelines Committee and the co-chair for prostate cancer on the SWOG genitourinary committee.
