Role Objective

This role assures compliance to the Global quality systems related to incoming materials at all GOJO Facilities and outside/inside contract suppliers. Investigates deviations to or issues with the quality system, gathers data and recommends improvements to the system.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Core



  • Assures quality of incoming materials and incoming finished goods
  • Implements test methods, procedures and analyses as needed
  • Assures the correctness & accuracy of material documentation (CERTs/COMs)
  • Releases or holds material based on recorded inspection results
  • Initiates the Quality Notification process of Suspect Quality Materials
  • Ensures Quarantine of Suspect Quality materials
  • Works with GQMI management and other GOJO departments to find possible resolutions for the continued use of suspect materials, if and when necessary
  • Provides support for various areas on-site and acts as a Global Quality Materials Inspection (GQMI) representative; involves meetings, projects teams, etc.
  • Responsible for data collection and analysis as needed or requested
  • Ability to communicate within and outside of the department across multiple platforms (in person, Teams, e-mail, etc..) in a professional and courteous manner
  • Time management and prioritization of daily activities
  • Adheres to all Safety Policies and Practices


Returned Goods Authorization



  • Physically identify and quantify actual product received on returned goods; includes comparing created RGA to actual returned items
  • Create and/or update SAP RGA information
  • Evaluate RGAs for proper disposition (Physical and System); includes rework, return to stock, scrap and/or donation material
  • Works closely with GOJO Environmental Department to disposition non-saleable material for use in donations to help lower environmental impact and costs
  • Develops RGA reconditioning instructions for production use, as needed

Education and Experience


  • Minimum of Associate's degree preferred in STEM related field and/or equivalent manufacturing/ quality experience.





  • One (1) to two (2) years' LIMS and/or SAP experience preferred.





  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office and its components.





  • Computer skills required.



Role Type
Mostly On-Site - 80%+ on-site work
Travel Requirements
Overnight Travel - sporadic - required.
Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed

Compensation & Benefits
