Located in Lexington, Kentucky, The Ridge offers a healing environment to reassure patients' sense of security and confidentiality. Dedicated to excellence, The Ridge is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as a licensed, 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric (mental health) and substance use disorder (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) services to children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient care is provided on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Outpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided on a five-day per week basis, days and evenings. Care is provided according to an established code of ethical conduct and strict adherence to patient rights.

Job Duties Include:

• Provide therapeuticgroup and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnosis.

• Coordinate treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process, andutilizationand review.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments.

• Assess, develop, and implement groups to enhance treatment of patients.

Job Qualifications:

Education:

• Master's degree in social work or other mental healthfield required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Certification or licensure in social work or mental health fieldrequired, e.g.,LCSW, LPCC, LMFT,etc.

• Crisis intervention training isrequiredand is offered upon hire.
• CPR isrequiredand offered upon hire.

Experience:

• One to two years of mental health experiencerequired.

• Inpatient experiencepreferred.

Other Skills:

• Written and oral communication skills.

• Skills in case management.

• Skills in time management.

• Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advancedprincipalsof abnormal psychology.

• Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients.

• Skills in conducting individual and family sessions.

• Skills inmaintaininginformation as highly confidential.

• Mustdemonstratethe ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization's cross-training,orientation program.Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medicalrecordsdocumentation.
