Project Manager Estimator

The Project Manageris in charge ofimplementing the overall project plan for construction activities, delivering the projects withinbudgetand at pre-determined cost level. This individual will work closely with the client providing status updates on timelines as well as budgeted costs and will be responsible for all documentation forchangeorders. The PM willmost likely beworking on multiple projects for the commercial retail client.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

* Create and execute project work plans, including tracking and reporting resource availability, and revise asappropriate tomeet changing needs and requirements.

* Identifyresources needed and assign individual responsibilities. Establish clear project roles and responsibilities.

* Travelrequiredasneeded.

* Coordinate the overall planning for communication, project risk, changemanagementand training.

* Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.

* Resolve and/or escalate issues ina timelyfashion.

* Communicate effectively with project teams toidentifyneeds and evaluate alternative business solutions.

* Gather and review constructiondocuments.

* Working with other Project Managers during bidding, negotiation, and post bid process

* Visit job sites tomonitorproduction / qualityassurance.

* Review the work progress ondailybasis.

* Prepare internal and external reportspertaining tojobstatus.

* Plan aheadto prevent problems and resolve any emergingones.

* Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to yourcustomers.

* Build andmaintainstrong, long-lasting customerrelationships.

* Expand customer opportunities with other services weprovide.

* Identifyand grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growthattainment.

* Assistwith high severity requests orissuesescalations asneeded.

* Visit customer locationsonetime perweek atminimum.

* Responsible for achieving andmaintainingdesired gross profit percentage for your customerbase.

* Perform other related duties asrequiredandassigned.

* Negotiate terms of agreements, draftcontractsand obtain permits andlicenses.

* Estimate Large Refrigeration Projects

Basic Qualifications:

* New product development experiencerequired.

* PMP certificationa plus.

* Experience working with and effectively leading cross functional teams essential.

* Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects on tight schedules.

* Strong and effectivedecision-makingskillsa must.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Individualmust be a self-starter with strong organizational abilities.

* Ability to coordinate and prioritizerequired.

* Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision a must.

* Discretion and confidentialityrequired.

* Ability to work as a team member in a rapidly changing environment.

* Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.

* Responsive to internal and external client needs.

* Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.

* Knowledge ofindustryisrequired.

* Mustbe well-organized anddetail oriented.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Perform other related duties asrequiredandassigned.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job-related experience

* Computer knowledge mustincludeMS Office- Word,Exceland Outlook

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to sit; occasionallyrequiredto stand; walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is usually quiet. Ability totrain.
