Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com The Process Engineer provides technical support and sustaining engineering for manufacturing processes involved in the production of electronic components and assemblies. This role supports process improvement initiatives, equipment optimization, and manufacturing operations to improve production efficiency, quality, and yield. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production teams, the Process Engineer assists with implementing process modifications, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and supporting new product introductions while developing technical expertise within the manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- Support process improvement initiatives by collecting data, analyzing process performance, and recommending improvements.
- Assist with planning and implementing equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and product yields.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and investigate process-related issues to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
- Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with Product Engineering and Design Engineering to ensure product designs are compatible with manufacturing processes.
- Support new product introduction activities by assisting with process development, validation, and production readiness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
- Assist with compiling and analyzing production and test data to establish process parameters and improve process capability.
- Collaborate with production personnel, technicians, quality, and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

- Executes well-defined assignments and follows established engineering procedures.

- Errors may impact project schedules or production timelines and are reviewed before implementation.
- Works under close supervision with limited independent decision-making authority.
- Receives specific guidance regarding project scope, methodology, priorities, timelines, and expected results.
- Work is reviewed for completeness, technical accuracy, and adherence to established standards.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and sustaining engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
- Basic knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and process improvement tools is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production personnel.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, equipment, and new technologies.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Education and Experience Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree with little to no professional engineering experience, or equivalent related internship or co-op experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment through internships, co-ops, or academic projects preferred.
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies or statistical analysis tools is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 45 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions.
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
Environmental, Health, and Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Perform work in a safe manner and support compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations.
- Participate in required EHS training.
- Immediately report safety concerns, incidents, and near misses.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
