As a Security Officer Access Control in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and/or security-related policies at a utility location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors, vendors, and/or contractors, and document access activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, control points, and perimeter areas to help support authorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and following established escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
