This is a part-time, seasonal position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with work hours beingprimarily in the summer and the fall. The company will not provide relocation assistance or otheremployment benefits for this position.

Parking Attendants are the first and last point of contact for all guests visiting Hershey's ChocolateWorld! This position is responsible for the safety of Chocolate World guests while entering/exiting bydirecting guests to the appropriate parking areas, maintaining proper flow of vehicles in and out ofthe parking lot, and ensuring spaces are available for guests. Parking Attendants assist with settingup parking cones and directional signage as needed. They are also responsible for processing cashtransactions and providing general directions. Parking Attendants are empowered to handlenumerous guest situations to ensure guest satisfaction.This position is not a valet position.

This position requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects the individual to beapproachable, courteous, knowledgeable about our products, able to clearly communicate withguests and assist them with questions, and able to provide general information to guests with a highlevel of professionalism. The required skills will be learned primarily through on-the-job training.

Direct traffic on Hershey's Chocolate World property during peak traffic times

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform majorduties/responsibilities:

Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including extreme heat, rain, wind, andother inclement conditions
Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards
Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25-50 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
Ability to tolerate a repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow coworkers and functioneffectively as part of a team
Cash handling skills
Must have basic math skills such as addition and subtraction

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required

Experience: Parking experience is preferred but not required
