Paralegal Summary:

The Paralegal provides legal and administrative support focused on corporate governance, compliance, contract management, and regulatory filings. This role maintains corporate records, supports transactions, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Paralegal Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains corporate records and governance documentation.
  • Prepares and files corporate documents and regulatory filings.
  • Support board meetings and prepares minutes.
  • Drafts and manages contracts and agreements.
  • Tracks contract deadlines and obligations.
  • Assists with M&A and corporate transactions.
  • Conducts legal research.
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external counsel.
  • Supports compliance and audit activities.
  • Organizes legal files and documentation.
Paralegal Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Paralegal certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance and contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
