Position Summary: The DevOps Engineer will work closely with the Development and Engineering teams to design, configure, and tune CI/CD pipelines to meet security, availability, reliability, and performance expectations when releasing code.

Essential Functions:



  • Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a variety of applications and environments. Provide best practices for Development and Engineering teams to properly monitor, build, test, and release code to production.
  • Build relationships with business and technology partners to provide a strong DevOps environment.
  • Write scripts to automate and optimize deployment of infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and offerings within the automation and DevOps space and act as a champion of automation and high engineering standards across the organization.
  • Assist the technical teams with troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and participate in an on-call support rotation for escalated issues.
  • Core Tech Stack:


    1. On-Premise: VMware
    2. Cloud: Azure
    3. CI/CD: Azure DevOps
    4. OS: Linux and Windows


  • Maintain and comply with bank's policies, procedures and strategies in providing efficient and effective service to internal and external customers.
  • Make sound policy and operational decisions within designated authority levels and parameters.
  • Contribute to and maintain written policies, programs, procedure manuals, surveys and training materials for the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels and contract requirements are maintained.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job- related duties or special projects as assigned


Qualifications:



  • Three to five years of applicable industry experience preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Valid Nebraska Driver's License.


Preferred Talents:



  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Bicep/Arm templates.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).

Working Environment:

Mostly indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.

Medium workload - lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds frequently and exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally.

Some travel required.

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
