Temporary Position Summary
The CPS Energy Internship Program is designed to help meet the evolving workforce needs of the utility industry by providing San Antoniocollege students meaningful, hands-on experience paired with mentorship. The internship is structured to help the intern learn how work gets done in a professional environment, understand the rationale behind planning and governance practices, and build foundational skills that support career readiness. Applicants mustresidein the San Antonio Metropolitan area and be currently enrolled or recently graduated to qualify. The IT PMO is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to support core portfolio governance, requirements definition, and data quality activities across Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). Whilethe ProjectManager focuses on delivery, the Business Analyst focuses on ensuring what we build isaccurateand well-defined. The intern will partner with IT PMO team members tomaintainaccurateportfolio data, support intake routines, and produce clear, decision-ready reporting for leaders. This includes assisting with requirements elicitation, documenting process flows, and validating data quality to ensure reliable visibility across the IT project portfolio. Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be currently enrolled in a related discipline.
A minimum GPA of 2.5.
Must currently reside within 120 miles of CPS Energy Headquarters.

Demonstrate an interest in a career applicable to the utility industry.
