    Position is not scheduled to work during winter break or spring break.
    Benefit eligible position
    $24.67 minimum hourly rate (Based on the 2025-2026 wage schedule)

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Provides clerical support in the school main office, including greeting visitors, answering multiple incoming phone lines, providing customer service, scheduling appointments, distributing mail, and ensuring visitors follow school security procedures.
    2. Coordinates building use of online financing programs for parent purchasing including supplies, field trips and after school classes.
    3. Coordinates building registration and communication for after school classes.
    4. Coordinates communication between parents and teachers regarding after school community education classes.
    5. Coordinate on site coordination and communication between district transportation and parents for bussing.
    6. Serves as a resource to the parent organization.
    7. Maintains school records and files while observing data privacy requirements.
    8. Coordinates the building's ordering and distribution of equipment and supplies, oversees inventories and storage, and coordinates purchase orders and the capital purchase process.
    9. Works closely with the building principal in coordinating and monitoring the building budget, assigning budget codes, making deposits, transferring charges, and dispersing petty cash to building staff members.
    10. Assists with all necessary paperwork for the building's staff development, including registering staff, initiating payment, monitoring the budget.
    11. Assists with the creation and production of bulletins, newsletters, weekly fliers, forms, correspondence, mailings, staff handbooks, parent handbooks, student directories, and reserve teacher folders.
    12. Serves as back-up clerical support for the Head Office Assistant.

    Qualifications:

    1. Evidence of ability to maintain confidentiality on all correspondences, communications, and school-related information.
    2. Evidence of successful work experience using advanced features of Google Docs and Sheets, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    3. Evidence of ability to process documents at a minimum typing rate of 50 wpm.
    4. Evidence of excellent human relations and communication skills.
    5. Evidence of excellent attention-to-detail and strong proofreading skills.
    6. Evidence of ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    7. Evidence of ability to work with minimum supervision.
    8. Evidence of ability to anticipate, analyze, and problem-solve various situations.
    9. Evidence of excellent organizational and record-keeping duties.
    10. Evidence of ability to stay on task with frequent interruptions.
    11. Evidence of ability to perform duties under pressure, handle constant interruptions, and adjust to changing priorities.
