Monday - Friday 3 AM - 11 AM

Starting Pay is $23.31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer Zone Patrol in East Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a reliable, agile, and innovative approach while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify appropriate credentials and/or visitor information, and document deliveries, pickups, and other site activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or other security-related concerns while maintaining detailed and accurate activity records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
