As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in West Valley City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions, de-escalation support, and other security-related duties appropriate to an unarmed patrol post.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations, and by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
