JOB MISSION:

Under the direction of the Finance Manager for Value Chain Finance, this position is responsible for the coordination and completion of forecasting, budgeting, & analysis for all New Balance Corporate Services related activities. In support of advancing the Finance Digital Transformation, this position will be responsible for all activities pertaining to the accurate, timely, development and maintenance of Corporate Services related activities utilizing advanced systems such as MSD365, Power BI and Spotfire.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Complete monthly close activities according to close calendar and book all journal entries for all transactions impacting Corporate Services.

  • Act as the financial representative for all facilities. Interact with all phases of operations to ensure proper financial representation is incorporated into all business decisions.

  • Act as business partner to the VP of Corporate Services. Keep the VP of Corporate Services informed of the budgets, results, forecasts, and any other financial analysis. Be prepared to present this information and ensure that the Corporate Services team is kept informed to create fiscally responsible business decisions.

  • Analyze monthly results and complete all required reporting activities. Duties include preparing the monthly Corporate Services results and all other reporting/analysis needs as required. Attendance at all monthly Corporate Services team meetings is mandatory.

  • Drive the annual budget process within the Corporate Services team.

  • Work with Space Planning Analyst to properly allocate all Facility related expenses based on square

  • foot usage in each building.

  • Provide Forecast updates as needed and review performance to forecast.

  • Review CARs and providing cash flow analysis and return on investments for requests for new building requirements.

  • Manage rent, property taxes, depreciation, and common area maintenance schedules.

  • Provide Cost Analysis to support both the financial and operations disciplines driving cost reduction and improvement opportunities.

  • Purchase order management.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting/Finance with a minimum of 2 years related experience.

  • In depth Cost Accounting knowledge is required. Strong PC & System skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint obligatory. Experience with D365, Oracle and Power BI a plus. MBA, CMA desired but not required.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential; with specific ability to manage up.

Lawrence, MA Corp Only Pay Range: $59,500.00 - $76,300.00 - $93,000.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
